Kismayo University extended its presence in Jubbaland and established new branch in border town of Dhoobley. The ceremony took place on 19th August 2021
The president of Kismayo University Dr. Mohamed Wali, Minister of education and higher learning Mr. Seerar Maah, Minister of finance and economic development Mr. Hussein Hirsi Ahmed, Minister of transportation and aviation Mr. Hadhun, rector of Kismayo university Mr. abdirizaq, head of departments, invitees, academic and non-academic staff and students attended the opening ceremony.
All sections of the society such as administrative, elders and scholars welcomed warmly the opening of Dhoobly branch. This event marked another milestone of the Kismayo university. The new campus will provide academic service for the secondary school graduates.
