The Deputy Chairman for Administration and Finance at Kismayo University recently participated in a study tour to Rwanda, focusing on the integration of peace and conflict resolution within educational systems. This initiative underscores Kismayo University’s commitment to enhancing educational quality and contributing to a stable and prosperous Somalia.
During the impactful trip, the delegation visited key academic and research institutions, including the University of Rwanda, the Centre for Conflict Management, the Institute of Research, Dialogue and Peace, and the Rwanda Higher Education Council. These visits provided valuable insights into Rwanda’s successful strategies for peacebuilding through education.
The Deputy Chairman also engaged with vital stakeholders from educational and peace development organizations. These discussions offered an in-depth look at Rwanda’s experiences in fostering peace and strengthening governance by incorporating peace education into their curricula.
