  • Cultural Week

Kismayo University recently wrapped up a colorful and inspiring Cultural Week 2025, a week-long celebration dedicated to embracing Somali heritage, creativity, and student unity.

Held at the university campus, the event brought together students, faculty, and staff from all departments, each contributing with passion and pride. The week featured traditional performances, art exhibitions, storytelling, cultural dress showcases, and friendly competitions between faculties.

Cultural Week is more than just an event—it’s a powerful reminder of who we are. Students took the opportunity to present the richness of Somali culture while also exploring diversity, inclusion, and youth leadership. From traditional music to heritage-inspired artwork, the campus was filled with energy and pride.

🏆 Congratulations to the Faculty of Education!

After days of engaging displays and performances, the Faculty of Education was crowned the overall winner of the Cultural Exhibition. Their creative presentation, teamwork, and cultural representation stood out and earned them the top honor. Well done to all the participants for making this a memorable experience!

🙏 Thanks to Everyone Who Made It Possible

The university’s leadership extends its heartfelt appreciation to the organizing committee, students, instructors, and everyone who contributed to the success of Cultural Week. Your enthusiasm and dedication brought this vision to life.

As the curtain falls on Cultural Week 2025, the spirit of tradition, innovation, and community continues to shine bright at Kismayo University.
