On Saturday 06-July-2024, the thesis defense for the 15th batch of graduates from various departments at Kismayo University commenced. This significant academic event marks the culmination of years of hard work and dedication by the students, who have prepared to present and defend their research in front of faculty and peers.

Among the candidates were students from a range of faculties, showcasing the diversity of academic disciplines at Kismayo University. The faculties represented included:

  • Faculty of Computer Studies: Students presented innovative projects and research in computer science, covering topics such as software development, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity.
  • Faculty of Sharia and Law: Candidates defended their theses on various aspects of Sharia law and contemporary legal issues, contributing to the field of legal studies with their unique perspectives.
  • Faculty of Education: Research presented by education students focused on improving teaching methods, educational policies, and learning outcomes, aiming to enhance the quality of education.
  • Faculty of Economics and Management Science: Theses in this faculty covered economic theories, business strategies, and management practices, addressing current economic challenges and proposing practical solutions.
  • Faculty of Health Sciences: Health sciences students presented research on public health, medical advancements, and healthcare management, contributing valuable insights to the health sector.

We wish all the students success and great progress in their academic and professional endeavors. Their hard work and dedication are commendable, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact they will make in their respective fields.
